Yesterday I popped into my new favourite shop in Dubai, ValleyDez and picked up this gorgeous denim studded Ragged Priest shirt - among a few other things!
I'm stud obsessed and love the fact that the shirt itself is turquoise and purple; quite a contrast with the more 'hardcore' studs.
I love the Ragged Priest and when I was in London a few months ago I picked up a few of their pieces from Ad Hoc on the Kings Road; but I'll keep that for another post.
Lipstick wise, I mixed MAC Impassioned (left) and Saint Germain (right).
Hope you're all having an amazing day!

NARS 'Funny Face'
Whenever I'm in London I stock up on NARS
products. NARS is without a doubt one of my top 5 favourite makeup brands and I can’t
believe it’s not sold in Dubai 'the land of everything' yet!
I know I can always order NARS online but when it comes to buying makeup that I haven’t tried before, especially high-end expensive makeup, I like being able to see it and try it on before I decide whether to splurge or not.
And here is a picture of me outside, just so you can see how the colour looks in different lighting...
P.S. the reason I look quite 'squinty' in the picture above is because it was so sunny outside. I'm not giving 'come-hither' eyes - I promise!!

One of the new never-tried-before products
I bought on my last trip to London was ‘Funny Face’.
It’s a semi-matte lipstick and unlike some matte lipsticks it’s not drying at all
which is due to its non-drying formula. The colour is absolutely beautiful – an
extremely pigmented deep, dark blue-based fuchsia. It’s also very long lasting. This lipstick definately ticks all
of my boxes when it comes to picking the ‘perfect’ lipstick!

Would I buy this product again?
Yes, yes, yes! There are certain lipsticks that I repurchase over and over again, like Ruby Woo by MAC; and Funny Face is definitely one of those types lipsticks.
Would I recommend this product?
Yes. If you're looking for a deep, rich, long-lasting fuchsia lipstick then Funny Face is the one for you!
I bought this
lipstick from Space NK on the Kings Road.
What’s your
all-time favourite NARS lipstick? Do you like Funny Face by NARS as much as I do?

Grazia Insider Card
This post is dedicated to my Dubai readers J
About a year or two ago I signed up for the Grazia Insider Card and it's honestly been a godsend!
For those of you that don't know what the Grazia Insider Card is; it basically gives you a 20% discount in some of the UAE's best shops and salons.
Best thing about it is that's completely free!
You can redeem your 20% discount in over 50 outlets around the UAE varying from fashion shops, home décor shops and salons & spas!
Some of my favourite places to use the Grazia Insider card are:
- Iconic
- Jane Norman
- Kurt Geiger
- New Look
- River Island
- Topshop
- ValleyDez Boutique - an amazing boutique that stocks a unique range of designers like The Ragged Priest (one of my personal favourites), Sass & Bide and House of Harlow to name a few.
As it is, the majority of my clothes are from high street brands such as River Island, Topshop and New Look and 20% makes a big difference! For example a few months back I decided to splurge in Topshop and spent around Dhs 1,200. Thanks to the 20% discount I saved Dhs 240 and we all know what that means - a new pair of shoes!!!
They have currently stopped registration for the meantime as they're undergoing a 'transformation' but keep checking their 'Sign Up' page for your chance to receive 20% discount around the UAE like me!

Shoes of the week : New Look Black Gold Cuff T-Bar Heels
So, in typical fashion, I went to the mall last night to buy milk and washing up powder and ended up walking away with another pair of shoes.
Like? Love? Loathe?
I bought these shoes from New Look in Dubai Marina Mall.
If I saw someone wearing these heels I'd never in a million years think that they're from New Look. Don't get me wrong, I love New Look and own at least 10 pairs of heels from there but in my opinion these shoes look very expensive, when it reality they're a pretty good bargain!
I don't usually go for T-Bar heels but the gold cuffs were literally calling out to me! For the past few months or so I've actually been on the hunt for cuffed heels and at one point I even contemplated buying regular cuff bracelets to put round my ankles so I'm very pleased I found these heels.
I also like the small detailing like the gold zipper at the back.

All in all, I love these shoes and can't wait to wear them out!
From what I can tell (a.k.a strutting around my apartment in them) they seem very comfortable which is a definite plus. Although I probably wouldn't care if they were slightly uncomfortable - which just goes to show how much I love them!

I think they were about Dhs 180-190 (I really need to start keeping receipts!) but thanks to my Grazia Insider card I received a 20% discount.
For anyone based in the UK, they're £29.99 - link!
