Revitanail : A miracle cure for nails

Ooh, the envy I feel when I see a woman (or man - who's judging?) with long beautiful nails. It's not just about the fact that well taken care of nails look fab and feminine, but the variety of amazing nail polish colors and brands out there is to die for (I'm currently loving Illamasqua - especially the glittery ones.. mmm)!

Anyways, back to the topic: Revitanail.

It's an Austrailian brand and no joke, the nail strengthener actually works. Up until Revitanail came into my life, I thought that nail strengtheners were simply a marketing ploy for suckers like me. I tried lots of different brands, all with the high hopes of getting the nails I dreamed off but nothing seemed to work. Fortunately a friend gave me one of her old half bottles of Revitanail, along with a raving review, to try out and thank god she did!

Within a month my nails were rock hard and when I say rock hard, I mean rock hard! Even manicurists where shocked! Not only does it make the nails stronger, it promotes nail growth, aids with peeling and flaking and lastly it repairs nails that have been damaged from acrylics - magic I tell ya!

From what I know (correct me if I'm wrong?), Revitanail can only be found in Australia but it can be ordered from any trusted website! If anyone out there is interested in Revitanail check out their website here.

Revitanail is definitely a cult, must-have product, so if anyone out there wants gorgeous nails give it a shot.. trust me!

Eyelash curlers

The biggest mistake that a self confessed beauty addict (BAA - Beauty Addicts Anonymous much?) such as myself can make is to go window shopping without the moolah to back it up - so when a bargain comes along, I simply can’t help myself. The imaginary angel on my shoulder screams ‘you don’t need it’, ‘you’re only spending for the sake of spending’ but unfortunately the devil on my shoulder telling me ‘oh come on, you deserve to treat yourself’, ‘BUY SOMETHING!!!!’ always wins; hands down.

They say nothing tastes sweeter than the taste of revenge but if you ask me screw revenge - nothing tastes sweeter than a good bargain. On a torturous day of window shopping, I cracked - I had a few euros burning a hole in my purse and I was determined to spend them, a woman on a mission I’m telling you! Wondering into Boots a.k.a Heaven, I ended up purchasing a relatively inexpensive eyelash curler. I had never used one before (god bless my long curly eyelashes!) but the eyelash curler happened to be the exact amount of coins I had to spend and my craving needed a 'fix' - gotta love the logic of it!

This was the day I came to a beauty revalation - every woman, no matter what your eyelashes are like, needs an eyelash curler. Why had it taken me a decade of beauty lovin' to figure this out? Why was there noone wandering the streets preaching about the wonders of an eyelash curler?!

If you haven't used one before, you don't know what your missing. Not only does an eyelash curler emphasise your eyes by making the eyelashes appear longer and curlier but if this makes sense to anyone other than me - it also makes all your eyelashes go in the same direction. Sometimes I wake up in the mornings with my eyelashes pointing in every direction which ends up making the application of mascara a hassle; but not anymore thanks to my new favorite beauty essential.

If my inexpensive one got such good results I'm definately splurging on this (above) Shu Uemura one, updates later!
